Gathering @ Vivo

Hi guys!!!

Our gathering at vivo was a SUCCESS (more or less)!!! 10 ppl turned up, and we watched The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor at GV. Then went to 7 Eleven for some random stuff. Aaron challenged to drink a can of coffee in 9 secs, but then turned out to b 9'42. lol. Then QN challenged too, but was out of breath halfway thru. LOL

It was NICE!!! n FUN!!! Those who nv go shud start to regret now.

We went to the sky garden (or watever its called) n took a photo.

Ruoxi's not in the photo cos she zao-ed early. N i took the photo, tats y im nt there :D

Hope to hav another gatherin soon! Lets c whos gonna organise next time... N hope more ppl turn up next time! XD

National Day Eve Gathering Updates

Updates:

Most people are only dismissed after 11, and once they arrive at Qifa and then leave for JEC or Vivo, it will be very late. Therefore, I suggest that we push the movie to the afternoon, so we will not be in a rush. Those who can make it in time at Qifa can like go for lunch together somewhere after meeting the teachers, and then when everyone has gathered, we go watch the movie.

So, pls tag if u wan to meet at Qifa for lunch, or goin straight to movie. Oso state ur dismissal time, n where u wan to watch the movie (JEC or Vivo). We'll most likely b leavin at 12 noon. Those who tagged, pls tag again. N oso ask other ppl who dun often read tis blog whether they r goin. Tag ur suggestions too if u hav a better way.

National Day Eve Gathering

Yo ppl!!!

National Day eve's around the corner. That means a GATHERING for us!!!

We plan to go for a movie at either JEC or Vivo. I hav discussed with Aaron, and we both agree tat JEC is better, cos it's nearer to IMM and Library, and oso has a lower possibility of being crowded, compared to Vivo. Maybe after the movie, we can hav lunch together or sth.

Final decision depends on the attendence, so MAKE SURE YOU PPL TURN UP!!!

Im nt sure about ur dismissal times, but if its half day, u all shud b able to make it to Qifa at around 11 to 11.30 (we hope we can see some teachers, althou its a BIT late...). If its still full day, then we'll push it to the afternoon if alot ppl are comin.

Now, I need ur cooperation. Those who can go, pls tag on the tagboard so we noe exactly how many ppl r goin, n who to wait for on tat day. we hav no time for polls or webforms (cos im too lazy to generate one XD), so this is the onli method tat is fast and, hopefully, reliable. if v less ppl turn up, then we'll cancel it.

finally, if on tat day theres a last-minute change in ur time table and u cant make it, pls sms or call anyone tats goin, so we noe tat u r nt gonna turn up. I'll generate the list n put it up here by thursday night (hopefully).

Hows life goin? Hope it's good...

National day's comin in 2 weeks. i rmb last yr some qifa alumni went back to visit. since we missed our class gathering durin the june holi, you all want to go back to qifa on 8 aug? we may nt be able to make it for sports day n the competition, but i bet we can meet some teachers.

if u all want, then we'll ask mrs chan or mrs ng for access. dun want to giv them a false alarm, esp when we sae we'r goin back n in the end onli 2 or 3 turn up... lol.

theres still teachers' day comin in 6 weeks or so, n we muz go back. so im nt sure if national day is a gd idea.

do u all wan a poll on this? i dun find it a good idea, but if u all really want one, then i'll put it up.
